I’m now working with some illustrators on a project called the LIVID COMICS COLLECTIVE.  My first attempt at inking comic pages is finally finished! For all you fans of the great Cimmerian, these are Alex’s Dark Horse/Conan application pencils. Even though these are the “final” inks, there’s still a Crom sized butt load of work to do. I have to get a few details closer to the pencils, edit and add all the word balloons back in, letter, color, and texture these bad boys. I’m working my way backwards through the comics conveyor belt. The only thing left to try is pencilling. Lucky I have Alex, and Fingers crossed he approves (or atleast doesn’t critique to harshly). ”Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!”

 KANEDA VS. TETSUO. By my good friend Alex Gouin Fafard. Digital colours by me. Alex has been giving me his old sketchbooks/line art for color practice. I’ve been slowly practicing colouring comics and plan on putting a portfolio together for Dark Horse Comics. I’m not really into heavy rendering with color. I think that gradients,flats, and textures say enough without getting in the way of the original art. Keep an eye out for more colour work soon!
